HEY LOLLIES SQUARE DANCE LESSONS

 

DATES:         September 16, 2021 – May 26, 2022

                       The first three sessions are free so you can try it out. (September 16,  23 and 30)

WHO WE ARE:

We are the Hey Lollies Square Dance Club, one of the largest clubs in the United States and the largest in Houston. The club has been around since 1965 and has about 200 members.
  

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

                       Eight months of FUN!

There are various levels of square dancing.  By the end of this class, you will be able to dance at the Basic, Mainstream, and Plus levels of Modern Square Dancing, and be able to dance almost anywhere in the world (Square dancing is found in the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, the UK, Europe, and Russia and is all called in English.)

Class members are invited to participate in the Hey Lollies social activities such as our Christmas party and picnic.

ATTENDANCE:

The class will be held upstairs at the Ascension Episcopal Church on Thursdays from 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

Please try to attend every class as calls taught each week build on previous calls.   Please let us know each week if one or both people cannot attend.

ATTIRE:          Dress is casual but we ask that men wear long sleeve shirts.  Wear comfortable shoes.  Boots or smooth-soled shoes are great.  Sandals are not recommended!
